Ciara Thorburn
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Sydney NSW, Ciara Thorburn of FireTrybe Nation began her career as a professional Fire Dancer in 2007. As proprietor, director and performer for FireTrybe Nation, Ciara built a dynamic team of young entertainers in NSW with regular training and performances. Expanding to Brisbane in 2009, FireTrybe Nation teaches and performs Australia wide working with groups including Carnival of The Divine Imagination, Fire Flirt, Carnivale Delight and Circusoc.
As a teacher Ciara is experienced teaching all levels, men and women children to adult. Her workshops specialise in incorporating specific Fire Toys into student’s areas of interest, and expand into diverse dance areas. With her structured semester workshops, her classes present the most comprehensive, structured and safe Fire Dancing workshops QLD wide.
With a 100% incident free record in both workshops and performances, students feel confident that they are in safe hands.
Sam Stabler
Sam has been performing and teaching Fire Twirling for over 7 years, with training in fire spinning, zen zen zo theatre, physical theatre and more. His skills are in Poi, Double Staff, Fire Eating and Fire Palms. Sam currently performs with FireTrybe Nation and Carnival of The Divine Imagination. Sam is a valued friend to collegues and workshoppers alike, a great instructor and an invaluable element to FireTrybe Nation.
